Gourmet Restaurant
Chef Sacha Couvreux and his Table des Halles have come a long way in the last ten years, to become a renowned gourmet restaurant in southern Touraine. You'll appreciate the relaxed, almost family atmosphere, and fresh, market-fresh cuisine. A fine starter with "la route de Saint-Jacques" featuring scallops, sturgeon and asparagus; a codfish, champagne sauce, lemon combava gnocchi, stuffed chard before a succulent citrus baba with its soft cookie soaked in rum, blood orange, vanilla mousse and rum sorbet. The cellar is well laid out, with a special mention for the consistent, relevant selection by the glass.
