Gault&Millau's review2025
The adventure continues for this beautiful village house with new owners, Stéphanie and Stéphane Riss, who are undoubtedly a boon for the village and surrounding area. Indeed, if the place has cachet, the tradition of fine dining must endure, and the chef has shown over the last few months that the two toques are once again in good hands. In fact, it's fair to say that this Alsatian-born chef is bringing a new dynamic to the table, with a gourmet cuisine that combines traditional reflexes with a modernized vision: pomegranate and passion veal tartare, lean fennel and citrus pavé, sautéed veal loin, sucrine-hearted chanterelles and potato mousseline. Good market menu at €33, interesting cellar, particularly for its well-chosen Alsace wines (Catherine Riss, Ostertag, Lucas Rieffel) and a good regional selection, with local organic produce.
