Gault&Millau's review2025
If Brittany is not short of beautiful hotels, this Castel Beau Site can certainly claim a place in the top 5. The site is magnificent, facing the sea, the pink rocks and the Château de Costaérès, and the table obviously enjoys a privileged view of this extraordinary spectacle. Breton chef Nicolas Le Luyer, who has been overseeing the Table de Mon Père since 2013, knows perfectly how to work regional products and pay tribute to them through a sober, coherent cuisine: confit saint-pierre, braised fennel, lime caramel and thyme sorbet, sea bass in soufflé scales, revisited carrot peas and herb pesto, melon-verbena soufflé, poached melons, rhubarb and melon sorbet in a pretty sequence that takes us to around €60. Efficient, discreet service.
