Chef's Restaurant
After more than two decades at the helm of Le Colombier in Offranville, Elodie and Laurent Kleczewski took the (calculated) risk of moving to a new, absolutely charming location in the heart of the village of Varengeville in early 2025. Spacious, bright, airy and opening onto nature, the main dining room is a true architectural success, where the cuisine of Jacques Maximin's former pupil blossoms fully, as if confirmed in its traditional yet contemporary spirit. The products are beautiful, the technique is sure, and the roasted Jerusalem artichoke, roasted skin juice and hazelnut-lemon condiments make an excellent starter, before the beautiful scallops, just snacked, with fennel and gnocchi and lacto-buttered juice, and the impeccable veal onglet, very reassuring with its sage saltimbocca sauce. The cheeses are by Olivier, and the desserts are unifying, like the rhubarb rice pudding with raspberry-rhubarb sorbet and fried rice. A varied cellar, smiling and professional service, under the direction of Elodie Kleczewski.
