Élodie and Laurent Kleczewski have thus found a haven perfectly suited to their expertise and aspirations in this large, contemporary home nestled in the heart of Varengeville’s charming, lush, seaside setting—a place far more sophisticated than Offranville. Here, the chef expresses himself freely, brings out the best in his fine ingredients, and offers a wonderful variety across his set menus and à la carte selections: octopus salad with crushed tomatoes and orange flavored with star anise, duck breast with raspberry sauce and BBQ seasoning, cheeses from Olivier’s and a strawberry pavlova with geranium cream—all part of a lovely €77 set menu that’s sure to please and is beautifully presented. When in season, the lobster menu enjoys well-deserved success.
