Éric Prowalski keeps the flame alive at a restaurant with a long-standing reputation (Marc Veyrat got his start here), which, with its Annecy-style elegance overlooking the lake, retains a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere that we don’t mind and that blends with the surroundings as if in a novel. The chef showcases his ideas on seasonal local ingredients, adding personal touches inspired by the season and his own creativity, skillfully working with potatoes, red mullet, mallard, and plums in menus that are somewhat prescriptive yet carefully crafted and progressive, starting at €109. The service is professional, and the wine cellar features fine Savoie wines as well as excellent selections from elsewhere.
