Chef's Restaurant Opposite the Tour d'Argent, the bistro is a good annex, able to exist in perfect autonomy, offering fine canaille dishes. The rotisserie focuses on well-applied gourmet dishes: pike quenelle, mushroom duxelles and creamy smoked sauce; mayo eggs and potato salad; half-chicken on the spit, garlic jacket and mashed potatoes; beef fillet, pepper sauce and French fries; 5A andouillette, French fries and old-fashioned mustard sauce; a remarkable quenelle, alas, served on banal mushroom duxelles; a good chocolate mousse. Very fine cellar, with very fine domaines at reasonable prices (Paquet, Jacquesson, Trapet, Combier, Elian da Ros). Two toques to encourage the house to continue along the path of simplicity and authentic contact, clearly preferable to the calamitous service for tourists that we had previously experienced. Plus, the terrace on the Pont de la Tournelle overlooking the Seine and Notre-Dame is no mean feat either...
