Chef's Restaurant Didier Eléna (ex Ducasse, ex les Crayères) has made a relatively discreet return to the capital, occupying a superb old house with a wood facade and gold lettering on a micaceous background to develop a cuisine of high tradition. If the concept of the American group that has set up shop here with this renowned chef is well understood (classic dishes, unbelievable prices), the aim is undoubtedly to create a sort of Ami Louis bis in Saint-Honoré, likely to appeal to a Texan or Middle West clientele. With grilled langoustines, escargots, navarin d'agneau, turbot hollandaise (€86) or sole meunière (€68), matured dry aged with béarnaise sauce (€85), our friends from across the Atlantic will be comforted by this unchanging vision of our fine gastronomy. Cellar in the same classic spirit.
