The prices, which seem sky-high, come as no surprise to tourists who know that this Renommée will treat them to authentic French dishes, served in generous portions and without pretension, along with genuine service and attention to detail. That’s well worth its weight in Burgundy snails, foie gras, and all those exquisite dishes that cement France’s reputation for fine dining: lamb navarin, filet mignon with pepper sauce, veal chop, sole meunière… House-made cocktails, a well-stocked wine cellar featuring top labels (Ostertag, Vacheron, Descombes…).
