Chef's Restaurant Sometimes, with this blasted fashion for blind menus, you put a big bet on the quality of a chef you don't know. At Patricia and Jérôme Masson, it's the same and completely different. The ticket is €50, the produce is at your feet, with the sea and Provençal countryside stretching out before you from this idyllic balcony at Le Pin de Bormes, and the chef is excellent, who has been proving himself for twenty years to conquered regulars. The four-course menu (always featuring excellent goat's or ewe's milk cheeses) is an ode to Provence, with fish from the day's catch (st. Pierre, red mullet, sea bream...) in a table d'hôte spirit that restores the charm of real inns, with Patricia's warm welcome and gentle service. A moment of sincerity and high quality at the foot of this jewel of a village.
