It's the region's great success story of recent years: Julie Dissais and Michael McLean have found their grail in Figeac, and we're delighted to have awarded them the Dotation Gault&Millau in 2018. The rest is up to them. The modern bistro spirit (Julie worked at the Parisian Pantruche) applied to a medieval town with a Quercy tradition, the wines well researched and sorted by Mickael, a joyful atmosphere that crosses generations, all arguments for a fairly considerable success and with no real competition in the town. A gourmet's delight with caramelized calf's head confit gribiche mayo with chilly oil and roasted hazelnuts, monkfish tail and Breton curry couscous with sweet spices radishes glazed with roasted beet sauce vierge, lime pavlova with mango coulis and carrot cake for dessert. Two toques for this little pleasure, repeated at every service.
