Gault&Millau's review 2026

The cuisine isn’t limited to the Périgord region—from which it actually borrows very little—but the approach is straightforward, the menu is extensive, and there’s something to make everyone’s mouth water: generous portions, a cheerful atmosphere, and unpretentious yet attentive service: country-style terrine, mackerel rillettes, Poitou snails with parsley butter, duck confit with Sarladaise potatoes (a bit of local flair after all!), andouillette with fries… Aged meats to share, and a Grand Marnier soufflé for dessert. A varied wine cellar featuring a few top labels (Trévallon, Grange des Pères...).
