A magical spot on the dunes of the Cotentin Peninsula’s west coast, between Barneville-Carteret and Agon-Coutainville, Julie and Juliette Nunes have designed this space to reflect their personalities, with treasures found here and there, and two terraces—one with your feet in the sand and bordered by a children’s playground. In the kitchen, it’s Juliette, the creative and inspired chef, who crafts dishes infused with the flavors of her travels—such as carrot hummus made with Créances carrots grown in the sand, or hand-chopped Thai beef tartare garnished with spices, yuzu balsamic cream, sun-dried tomatoes, chives, capers, red onions, Parmesan, sunflower seeds, egg yolk, and olive oil. In the evening, tapas and pinsa (the house specialty) take center stage for a convivial gathering. While the menu changes with the seasons, the décor also adapts to the menu and the festive occasions throughout the year. Every month, a musical blind test is held to wrap up your dining experience with songs.
