Chef's Restaurant It seems so easy to make real Nissette cuisine, without having to worry about it, by transcribing recipes that have been working for decades. And yet, if there's only one Merenda, and tourists from all over are crying that they can't find a vacant chair, there must be a reason. Dominique Le Stanc has imposed this remarkable orthodoxy on the entire kitchen, and it's here, and only here, that you'll find, at this level, cold ratatouille, small stuffed dishes, veal tripe and even, on a lucky day, stockfish. It's one of those places you just have to visit, even if you have to be patient.
