Winner of the Gault&Millau award, Quentin Pierre maintains his two toques this year, with his fine table near the Lac de Madine, where he brings to life an up-to-date Lorraine flavor. The €40 menu takes you on a lovely country stroll, with zucchini tartlet, mustard cream and pickles, low-temperature trout, green beans and trout roe, low-temperature pork loin, carrot and mirabelle plum, white chocolate sweet, peach and short bread. The cellar is well thought out, with wines from both Lorraine and Alsace.
