Chef's Restaurant It's a superb country house in the heart of the Monts du Forez, exuding an engaging simplicity, and conveying all the spirit of authenticity characteristic of Mickael Marcoux's cuisine. Together with his partner Marie-Jeanne Rault (they met at Maxime Meilleur's), they have created an experience of nature, far from the city and close to the land, with dishes stripped down to their essentials. The €75 tasting menu is as elegant in its combinations as in its presentation, with confit féra du Léman served cold with green bean salad, tomato raviole au gratin with comté cheese and tomato water, filet de saint-pierre, zucchini and red bell pepper, sauce vierge chorizo, roasted veal sweetbread, mushroom flan and pan-fried chanterelle mushrooms, sabayon amaretto, wild blueberry and Valrhona chocolate dessert.
