Marie-Jeanne Rault and Mickaël Marcoux met at Maxime Meilleur's, before settling here in this charming house in the heart of the Forez mountains. It's an immersive experience, this elegant, pure simplicity, the stone and wood, the natural colors, introducing the house's raw, regional cuisine. The plates are not lacking in sophistication, however, with cutting-edge creations such as a starter of foie gras, port and beet jelly, escargots en persillade, veal and celery, duck breast and pumpkin declension, and French toast. Menus at €55 and €75.
