This barn in a small village in the Oise region offers gourmet dining in a peaceful setting featuring a veranda that opens onto a lush garden. Chef Thomas Filippa offers four set menus: just €35 and €49 for lunch, and two more indulgent options at €84 and €108. On the 5-course “discovery” menu for 84 €, we enjoyed the dish featuring cherry tomatoes and Burlat cherries; followed by spelt served with cuttlefish and saffron mayonnaise; then a duo of sea bass and haddock, mussels, and razor clams in a Noilly Prat sauce; followed by a surf-and-turf dish featuring farm-raised pork, eel, and Sucrine lettuce in a red port sauce; and finally, a chocolate-buckwheat dessert. The staff is friendly, and the wine list features a wide selection of Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. A bucolic spot to enjoy a relaxing time.
