Remarkable Restaurant Now fully completed, the handover from Michel Chabran to his son Louis has delighted those of us who love this historic address. The large dining room, with its elegant decor and meticulous attention to detail (Bernard Cathelin's paintings, the carefully crafted lighting, the lovely view over the garden), has lost none of the nobility that attracts families on weekends to celebrate life's milestones. The large menu, christened Léonie and available in 7 or 9 courses, and the à la carte menu ensure that no one is left out, by offering reassuring, easy-to-understand dishes, always with a touch of luxury: white and green Drôme asparagus in textures and morel foam, slightly crispy langoustine, carrot chutney and citrus beurre blanc before a classic work on Sisteron lamb in a herb crust. Desserts in the same spirit, with of course the unmissable Valrhona chocolate worked in several textures and combined with blood orange. Incollectable cellar in the Rhône Valley, service a little too discreet.
