Gault&Millau's review2026
Literally opposite the Palais de la Berbie, this market table is perfectly situated to welcome the flow of Sainte-Cécile pilgrims, Toulouse-Lautrec enthusiasts and lovers of old stones. Sundays after mass and fine summer days quickly fill the place with a lively, cheerful crowd, sharing a definite appetite and well satisfied by chef Nicolas Roussel. He defends a classic and wise line, with well-presented regional products such as an endive salad, diced Roquefort, walnuts, lardons, duck gizzards and slices of dried duck breast, a well-seasoned veal steak, green pepper sauce, leek white snacked a la plancha, mushrooms en persillade, a millefeuille, praline pastry cream, caramel coulis and salted butter caramel ice cream. Formulas at €27 and €35.
