The location is privileged, in the setting of this magnificent Corderie Royale on the banks of the Charente. Enjoy the site, the terrace in fine weather, and half-modern, half-traditional cuisine, prepared with sincerity and dedication: duck foie gras marinated in red wine, pineau and sherry grape chutney, pan-roasted monkfish with lentil bélouga stew, buttered veal chop with wild garlic, raspberry crème brûlée. Honest formula at €35 to enjoy the place for less.
