A lovely pale ochre brick house on the roadside in the middle of a village, just a few minutes from Longwy. The interior is equally well appointed, modern and natural, with a strong wood presence. Patrice Vilaine's unique €58 menu is well thought-out, with a vegetarian option for each level, and changed every month, using fresh local ingredients, and served by Séverine: roasted figs with hazelnut gorgonzola and arugula, cod confit with olive oil, glazed eggplant and tomato leche de tigre, duck breast with miso girolles and vegetable condiment, chocolate mousse with vanilla ice cream and Piedmont hazelnut caramel.
