Gault&Millau's review2025
In a charming 19th-century building some twenty kilometers west of Saint-Étienne, you'll find this pretty traditional restaurant, which looks a little old-fashioned, but has a definite conviviality about it. The €35 menu is a good mid-range option, with hay-roasted half-quail, leg in hot pâté, lentils and mushrooms, breaded hake back, shellfish cream and ginger purée, or duck breast, lime, crushed purple potatoes and citrus tuile. Good service.
