The famous Chez Bernard institution in the Magaud cove, known to Toulon locals for decades, has been taken over this year by Stéphane Lelièvre (Les Pins Penchés, Les P'tits Pins), who has turned it into the new trendy seafood restaurant. With lobster pasta as a specialty, and an obviously much more modern menu, applied with dynamism and savoir-faire, blending South and fashion: anchoyade, vegetable tempura with tartar sauce, homemade fish soup, lobster wakame club sandwich, mussel bouillabaisse, whole baked pike-perch...
