Gault&Millau's review 2026

It's one of the neighborhood's great canteens, a maze of rooms and terraces invaded every evening, where you can eat until after 11pm. It's an infectiously lively place, where people share simple pleasures in good company, good south-western cuisine and well-sourced meats. The recipe hasn't changed in fifty years, and you'll always come back: moules braisière, a plate of blue-veined knives, semi-cooked duck foie gras, ravioles du Royans, homemade cassoulet, duck confit, a fine fillet of beef with morel mushrooms, cooked to an exemplary rare consistency, a good skewer of duck hearts... Very efficient service.
