Having worked for Thierry Marx, Benjamin Grandclément has returned to his homeland to open this chic brasserie on the Place Gramont. The place, which claims to be a maison bourgeoise, is deliberately elegant and traditional, serving classic French recipes on fine china. On the menu: polignac egg, lobster civet, Pyrenean trout with watercress, poule au pot with choice of garnish, pear clafoutis and hazelnut crumble. A €29 weekly menu is available every lunchtime.
