Gourmet Restaurant Established in 1991, Patrick and Marie-Paule Descoubes run their Océanic with conviction. Seafood takes pride of place, and is always of the highest quality, with a mastery of preparation: for example, abalone from Plouguerneau with iodized butter and ink tuile, or roast octopus with chorizo and spirulina aioli, all of which are pleasant to taste and to look at, despite the less relevant accompaniments. The chef's wife runs the dining room with gusto, offering advice on wine pairing for those who don't want to go directly to the cellar to choose (the exercise, no doubt for the sake of modernity, can seem a little tedious, like reading the menu, accessible only via a QR code).
