The adventure continues for Christophe Marlière, who for the past three years has been offering a home-cooked cuisine full of flavors in this old Valenciennes street, where we come to discover a menu that changes every ten days and is accessible to all. At €35 for a starter, main course and dessert at lunchtime, the chef's proposals are very tempting, and can be complemented by a last-minute arrival announced in person, such as this scallop carpaccio accompanied by the season's latest truffles, which competes with the originality of the oyster sorbet accompanying the mackerel rillette starter. Pike-perch or tuna tataki are accompanied by mango, crisp greens and Kalamata olives, and face veal cordon bleu with truffle butter. The exotic fruit tartare seems to be the only dessert on the menu, which is only available in the evening. Very accessible wine list.
