Gault&Millau's review2026
Of course, people come for the food, the lobster pasta, the grilled meats and the bouillabaisse as an initiation rite (everyone takes a turn to smell the huge steaming soup). But above all, if this gourmet pilgrimage is a ritual, it's because of the unique atmosphere created by the Cruché family, Geneviève, Patrick and their children, who each year assemble a dream team to welcome hundreds of guests to the large space created on the edge of the magnificent Estagnol beach. From the start of the season in mid-April to the end of September, there's a never-ending procession to this magical straw hut, which offers a rare moment, with a menu wide enough to please young and old alike, including anchoyade, pizzas, wild fish from the market, lobster from the fish tank, filet of beef and Micka's tropézienne. Selected wines from the vineyards of Bormes or La Londe.
