Chef's Restaurant The setting is that of a magnificent, luxurious château-hotel, the Kaïla, where Laurent Azoulay put away his skis a few years ago. From his past in Provence (we knew him at Le Saule Pleureur, Monteux), deep traces remain, those of a sunny cuisine that, without turning its back on the snow-covered peaks (a beautiful version of Savoy onion soup), can't hide its delicious, lilting accent. Azoulay's bouillabaisse brings together Mediterranean and Savoy peaches, Bresse poultry is contised with Savoy walnuts and truffles, and the honey dessert brings together Nyons olives and Provence citrus. The setting is rather exclusive, and so are the prices (€180 for the first menu).
