Well-known to locals, L'Écureuil was recently taken over by Ange Villalon-Iglesias and Ilyas Mesbah. Open 6 days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, you can enjoy the excellent traditional French cuisine of Chef Chafik Mesbah. Elegant, refined and beautifully presented, this 100% home-cooked cuisine features fresh, quality produce. Starters include marrow bone au gratin, frogs' legs and foie gras. The menu, renewed twice a year, also features beef bourguignon, veal liver with gratin dauphinois, entrecôte-frites, sea bream and zucchini risotto. Vegetarian dishes, salads and burgers complete this gourmet offering. To finish on a sweet note, tiramisu, pavlova, profiteroles and ice creams are sure to please! A lunch menu is also available at €24. The wine list features wines from every region of France. L'Écureuil's setting is equally appealing: a warm, authentic dining room with a fireplace, another with a more contemporary decor, and a pleasant terrace in fine weather. A century-old establishment where conviviality and authenticity are the order of the day. Visit us on Facebook (L'écureuil Coubert).
