Gourmet Restaurant On the Saint-Laurent side, the view over the Saône river and the city is very charming, and Christelle and Vincent Rivon's restaurant has what it takes to win you over: a professional welcome, a clear offer, well-crafted menus and a plate that smells of pleasure: Bresse poultry and foie gras marble, vegetable pickles and apricot compote, fresh frogs in Dombes-style parsley sauce, beef tenderloin brochettes in red wine sauce, warm Grand Marnier soufflé, blood orange sorbet. The current menu at €29 is a good introduction. A connoisseur's cellar, neglecting no region, with excellent proprietors (Bérèche and Laherte in Champagne, for example), putting the Mâconnais in the spotlight, but well-informed about the whole of Burgundy.
