Place du Capitole, right in the center of Toulouse, the Hotel Plaza seems to have found its rhythm with classic, no-frills dishes. Several menus are available in three courses (€37 or €47), plus a 6-course grand menu. A hearty starter of foie gras opera with a mango-passion coulis and pistachio cookie. Next, a medallion of monkfish accompanied by no-frills cabbage where all the products have their place on the plate. A dessert of poached pear completes the sweet touch. A classic cellar, with a fine cocktail menu.
