After several years in Paris, local chef Philippe Coste and his wife Nathalie have returned to this village on the outskirts of Perpignan, where they run a fine Catalan restaurant. It's a serious, classically decorated establishment, with a terrace that's ideal in summer. The menu reflects a mastery of local traditions: tartine of red mullet fillets, pan-fried zucchini and eggplant, coriander oil, roast cod pavé with spices, radish and basil reduction, young vegetables, chicken with prawns, picada potato mousseline, cured ham chips.
