Two-toque restaurants are rare in the city, and Amélyss has held its own in this respect for the past eight years. It has become a virtual institution for Grenoblois in search of refined, inventive cuisine, who appreciate well-calibrated prices (the €48 formula offers plenty of choice) and, at the same time, good produce and assured technique: croustillant de sanglier crème de céleri rave andouille de Guéméné, carpaccio de saint-jacques guacamole jus de crevette au citron royale de saint-jacques à l'estragon, ananas poché crème caramel thé clémentine crumble thé... A simply elegant dining room, a good cellar at fair prices.
