Gourmet Restaurant Nearly a quarter of a century under his belt, and still the same pleasure of entertaining, for a moment that's 100% Auvergne. Nicolas Jouvie's table offers an old-fashioned atmosphere, a moment out of time. The walls are decorated with old black-and-white photos, the tables are laid with earthenware plates, and the à la carte menu features local specialities for both eating and drinking. So, to accompany chanturgue or saint-pourçain, hazelnut cream pounti, Auvergne ham, stuffed cabbage millefeuille, petit salé with Puy lentils, truffade and, of course, aligot served at the table, with sausage on the knife. A fine selection of desserts.
