Gault&Millau's review 2026

Few restaurants can boast of having hosted as many young talents as this Agapé which, if we dare make a sporting comparison, has often played the role of training center for great chefs in the making. Gaëtan Gentil, Bertrand Grébaut and David Toutain, among others, preceded Yoshi Nagato, who joined Laurent Lapaire's restaurant at the beginning of summer 2023. In these beautiful Parisian neighborhoods, the cuisine is serious, sometimes a little too smooth, as if never to ruffle the audience's feathers. The products are beautiful, the cooking precise (the roasted calf sweetbread, fricassee of morels and green asparagus is a model of its kind) and the prices are in line (desserts at around 30 euros a la carte immediately set the scene), even if the Agapé menu, at 119 euros, allows you to do the whole thing on the cheap.
