Committed to what stands the test of time and to those who do things right, we’ve always kept a watchful eye—and a discerning palate—on this spot, which has been around for nearly twenty years thanks to the Van de Velde twins. The simple bistro of its early days has stayed true to its roots while refining itself, from the lovely new ’60s-inspired decor to the consistently precise and gourmet cuisine: Loire Valley asparagus with ravigote sauce, royal sea bream with curry-infused broth, peas, and asparagus, sots l’y laisse with bird’s tongue risotto, and vanilla-rum-raisin rice pudding with toasted sesame seeds. And prices remain reasonable, including the €36 lunch menu.
