Gault&Millau's review2026
Indeed, the most beautiful site in the village and the most comfortable to stay in, enjoy the balcony terrace and have the best meal in the area. Chef Xavier Menot knows how to make his terroir look good (foie gras with green tomato and ginger chutney, porcini mushroom cromesquis with pumpkin velouté, leg of Quercy lamb with cantal potato gratin and white beans en cocotte), while at the same time offering some interesting off-the-beaten-path creations: breaded prawns with sweet and sour sauce, back of hake with beluga lentils in mustard sauce. We finish with the traditional apple pastis with old Souillac plum and vanilla ice cream, and the bill remains contained.
