It’s the best restaurant in the prefecture, and undoubtedly one of the best in the department. Mickaël Marion is a consistent, dedicated chef who applies impeccable technique to all the ingredients he loves—mostly local or from nearby: vegetables from his local farmers, scallops in winter, lobster in summer, salt marsh lamb—both fine and humble ingredients enhanced with his personal touches, a few exotic spices, or herbs he picks himself in the countryside. Prices remain reasonable given the overall quality, with “hidden” set menus priced at €71 (four courses) and €105 (seven courses).
