For the past twenty-five years, Jean-Michel Feger has made Mulhouse one of Alsace's finest Italian destinations, with this top-flight gastronomic table, where the finest recipes from the peninsula are superbly interpreted. Its €98 menu is a real voyage, with a salad of warm octopus, celery, potatoes, capers and red onions in agrodolce, delicious spaghetti alle vongole, with cockles and clams, brocolettis, in a very spicy and peppery jus, then scallops on a celery carpaccio, like a revisited open raviole, with mushrooms, Piedmont hazelnuts and martini foam. Very good service and excellent commentary from new sommelier Théo Canale, who gave good advice on a mainly Italian cellar.
