In partnership with the Da Vittorio restaurant, the Italian table at the Royal Monceau has reopened its doors, led by chef couple Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero. The dishes are top-of-the-range, with just the right amount of technique and selected products to satisfy a demanding clientele and justify the prices. On the menu this season: sea bream carpaccio, white peach, caponata emulsion, dill risotto, pistachio sabayon and Mazara del Vallo prawns, truffle tagliolini, sea bass panzanella and watercress emulsion, Milanese-style "elephant ear" with cherry tomatoes and baked potatoes. Very fine Italian cellar.
