In a small village between Epinal and Langres, this attractive 3* hostellerie is a good local stopover, for overnight stays and meals, as complete in services as it is welcoming. The chef prepares a plate of dishes according to what's on the menu and what's on the market, in an updated style that will appeal to both traditional and urban eaters. For €32, you'll be tempted by eggplant and sun-dried tomato ravioli with langoustines, red mullet fillet with zucchini and chorizo, duck effiloché in parmentier with old Comté cheese and vegetable jardinière, or a chocolate and coconut sphere. Good service.
