In the north of the Causses du Quercy, not far from the Gouffre de Padirac, a good 3* establishment offers comfortable rooms and local cuisine, for a family and gourmet experience. The place has a sober hotel charm, correctly situated in its time; the €25 formula is a good first introduction, with tatin of pig's trotters with porcini mushrooms, foie gras sauce, back of cod in vegetable marinière, sauce vierge, filet mignon of pork with Cahors sauce, mashed potatoes with herbs, or iced nougat with candied fruit and honey. Friendly service.
