Remarkable Restaurant From generation to generation (now the 3rd), from extension to extension (hotel, gourmet bistro, bakery, grocery store, spa...), the Corre family is inextricably and enduringly linked to this splendid and rugged maritime headland, which it helps to bring to life all year round. In the restaurant's elegant dining room (a fine example of combining the old and the new), Nolwenn offers a light cuisine, a perfect reflection of local resources. Even before the first entree, you're immersed in this predominantly seafaring universe with, for example, this regressive bread-butter-pigwort dish. Ready for boarding! Authentic and deceptively rustic, Douarnenez sardines are combined with buckwheat and Molène sausage in the form of a fine, melting jelly. Buckwheat is also used with the superb oysters from Prat-Ar-Coum, just poached and then stiffened. The impeccably cooked brill fillet then takes over, accompanied by artichoke poivrade and a suave lentin cream. The harbor is still a long way off, as a beautiful plate of iodized fish takes shape: mussels native to North Brittany ("Gallo") escort the saint-pierre and a few broad beans. The ensemble is enhanced by three delicate sauces, demonstrating a fine exercise in style. Without extravagance, but with precision and pertinence, the delicious strawberries from the neighbor's farm are combined with a creamy fromage blanc mousse contrasting with a red fruit and seaweed confit. Service is lively and attentive. As for the heavy cellar book, rather than leafing through it, let the sommelier tell you all about the wines, the estates, the winemakers and his discoveries, with jubilation and great detail!
