Still one of the capital's finest dining establishments, this unique Joseph Dirand-designed venue in the heart of the Cité de l'Architecture is a pinnacle of Art Deco decoration, imperatively luxurious, with a unique view of the Eiffel Tower, 200 m away as the crow flies, on the other side of the Seine. The impressive dining room, with its solid marble counter, huge picture windows overlooking the city and coffered ceiling 5 m above the floor, completes the setting. The plates deliver a good marine flavor, through product and execution: plates of oysters, splendid platters, yellowtail sashimi, cockles in marinara and seaweed butter, blue lobster linguine, tomatoes, herbs, sole meunière, lemon-basil tart. Excellent service. Cellar up to scratch.
