This discreet façade in the center of Lille is no longer so. Word-of-mouth praise for Valentina Giacobbe and Julien Ingaud-Jaubert has filled the reservation waiting lists. Their growing reputation is matched by the quality of the cuisine offered by this couple, who trained at Gagnaire, Meurin and Le Rozó, and who have taken the opportunity to expand their team and perfect their welcome and culinary experience. The menus, which have remained unchanged since the opening, reflect the high standards of the chef and his ability to adapt to the seasons, with ingredient selections made in perfect harmony with top-quality local producers and suppliers, all with great respect for the environment, which is always at the heart of the team's reflections. The 48 € lunch menu is the perfect way to discover this elegant and pure cuisine, and the Harmonie menus or its vegetarian version at 79 €, as well as the Ginko menu at 100 €, are the perfect programs to fully enjoy this gastronomic journey imbued with Asian flavors and the childhood memories of the hostess. Green asparagus with tarragon jus or seaweed gnocchetti precede pearly cod with perfectly crunchy peas and an indispensable hollandaise with wild garlic. Poultry stuffed under the skin is unveiled alongside a peanut condiment and celery ravioli, before giving way to a strawberry dessert with a tender cookie and lazy cream, a kind of whipped pannacotta. Calamari with leeks and sansho pepper and kiwi and shiso complete the experience. The techniques are mastered, the juices and seasonings are often surprising, the desserts cleverly sweetened and the flavors pushed to the limit. The wine list is also full of wonderful discoveries.
