Gault&Millau's review 2026

Nestled at the back of a small shopping center just off the Saint-Jean-de-Luz freeway, this is a place well worth a visit. You'll discover an inventive cuisine based on local and seasonal products carefully selected by chef Benoit Sarthou, in a modern, elegant and warm decor with two atmospheres: lounge side or kitchen side. The originality of the restaurant lies in the fact that you can create your own itinerary according to your desires: there's no set menu, just a series of suggestions from aperitif to dessert, including French toast with grilled corn, foie gras marinated in verjuice, mushrooms and lemon pulp, red tuna chorizo, spicy red tuna nduja with seaweed butter, swordfish pâté en croûte, tarragon mustard, saké gel, spider crab and avocado, licorice, tarragon, green crab emulsion, matured Herriko beef taco, ending with a kiwi-nori vacherin or Bardenas honey soufflé, not to mention house cocktails and mocktails and a varied list of regional wines.
