Right next to the patisserie adjoining his restaurant L'Axel, Kunihisa Goto has opened an all-Japanese table that is already attracting fans and establishing itself as one of the places to go. Pure Nippon from a great pro, with some great ideas alongside the classic gyozas, sashimis and okonomiyakis: slices of grilled shimeji tofu beef or ginger edamame shiitake rice croquettes in soy sauce for starters, chicken fritters in amazu sauce with citrus, lotus root and ginger, ramen in a bonito tonkotsu broth or Japanese wagyu for connoisseurs.
