Typical Alsatian address in a pretty ivy-covered corner house. The Strasbourg recital takes on a classic air, with onion tart and escargots "de pépé Jean", but also knows how to embrace modernity with salmon Big Mac and grumbeerkiechle. The dishes are very much of their region: bibeleskäs or baked knuckle of ham, beef gros sel or garnished sauerkraut. Generous plates, good iced kouglof for dessert, Gansa Lizel menu at €33.50.
