In this typical brick house north of Tourcoing, backing onto Belgium, people speak fluent Ch'ti, and that's a good thing. If, by any chance, the skies overhead are turning gray, a dip in this friendly atmosphere will warm you up. The catalog is well laid out, with well-stocked boards (potjevleesch, flamiche, charcuteries...), carbonade, chicken with maroilles, and "gambettes ed'pourchiot", evocative enough not to be translated. Belgian beer is drunk mainly in chopines, but Stella is also available on draught.
