Gourmet Restaurant In this magnificent, historic setting (an 18th-century mansion occupied by the Marquis de La Fayette) with its astonishing Baroque décor, the cuisine is a mischievous take on brasserie classics: perfect egg with parsnip purée, smoked bacon and croutons, guinea fowl supreme stuffed with trumpets of death and potato gratin, followed by a caramelized éclair with apples, calvados and cardamom. A cuisine that's both rich and canaille (big appetites will be satisfied), very relaxed service.
