Gault&Millau's review2026
Jean-Sébastien Faber and Anthony Barrucand have been friends for over twenty years, and form one of the valley's most creative duos. Their restaurant, which opened in 2009, is still as exciting as ever, with its alpine setting and sophisticated dishes, ranging from signature dishes to seasonal compositions. Don't miss the famous foie gras soup with muscatel, red onion compote and cromesquis, followed by Arctic char fillet and lemon pearl barley risotto, beer-marinated venison fillet, red cabbage compote and slice of grilled stuffing, hot chocolate moelleux and heart coulant, Morello cherry sorbet and vanilla and cocoa crème anglaise. Excellent cellar (Montez, Cuilleron, Fabien Trosset, Philippe Grisard, Tissot, Pabiot, Frédéric Mochel, Sylvain Pataille, Pontet-Canet...).
